Rangjung Yeshe Gomde México

In a natural and picturesque setting, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Gomde offers the perfect environment to learn and practice authentic meditation. Our program offers many possibilities for both experienced meditators and practitioners, as well as beginners and interested individuals.

In daily meditation sessions, seminars, and daily life, we try to fully develop and embody impartial loving-kindness, compassion, and wisdom through training our own minds. This is based on the understanding that primordial awareness (rangjung yeshe), which possesses these same qualities, is inherent in every living being.

The center has been acquired, inspired, and guided by the loving vision of our abbot Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche.

Anyone can authentically study the teachings of Sutra and Tantra at our Gomde centers and put into practice the vision, meditation, and conduct of the three vehicles. I have a sincere aspiration that in the future, the Gomde centers will become great seats of Dharma, from which countless scholarly and realized beings will emerge.

History

Rangjung Yeshe Gomde Mexico is a retreat center for the study and meditation of the philosophical and contemplative traditions of ancient India and Tibet. It was inaugurated in 2023 by Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche and operates under his direction. As such, it is linked to the Kagyu and Nyingma schools and many of the practices carried out at the center come from the Chokling Tersar.
