The Middle Way, Mahamudra, and Dzogchen

How to practice the Dharma, its methods, and results through the 37 Practices of the Bodhisattvas.
July 29th to august 4th

We are delighted to share that the Sun of the Dharma, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, will once again honor Rangjung Yeshe Gomde Mexico with his presence. On this occasion, Rinpoche will offer the pinnacle of the philosophy that leads us to an understanding of emptiness, inseparable from the practical approach that brings about the recognition of the nature of our own mind. This timeless nature is the essence shared by all sentient beings and all Buddhas, and it is the very reason we can attain the same state of Buddhahood.

Rinpoche will share his wisdom, which flows both from his own deep experience and from the ancient lineage of accomplished yoginis and yogis that precedes him. He will be accompanied by one of our beloved lamas or khenpos, who will guide the morning and evening practices, as well as offer afternoon teachings to clarify the essential points of Rinpoche’s instructions.

Do not miss this wonderful opportunity to receive these precious teachings from a genuine master with an authentic lineage!

During his visit, Rinpoche has generously agreed to bestow the empowerments and oral transmissions for the Single Form of Vajrasattva and the Essential Practice of Padmasambhava, or Trinle Nyingpo. These are essential for those who: Trinle Nyingpo. Estos son esenciales para quienes:

  • Wish to adopt them as daily practice

  • Plan to attend Lama Tsultrim’s teachings scheduled a few weeks after Rinpoche’s visit

  • Aspire to complete the preliminary practices within this lineage

**Tantric empowerments are essential rituals within the Vajrayana system that open the door to the dynamic energy of tantric deities. Their primary purpose is for the vajra master to introduce the student to the deity to be practiced.**

Tsele Natsok Rangdröl describes the empowerment ritual as follows:

“Entering through the gateway of Vajrayana or Secret Mantra teachings depends on two things: maturation and liberation. Without first receiving the empowerment of maturation, one is not permitted to hear even a single verse of the tantras, their declarations, or their instructions. Those who hear and study the tantras without empowerment not only fail to receive blessings but, by violating their secrecy, generate great negativity. Those who practice without empowerment are merely pretending to follow liberating instructions, but instead of gaining accomplishments, such practice will bring obstacles and countless other faults.”

Upon receiving these empowerments, we undertake a series of tantric commitments or samayas that must be upheld for life. Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche summarizes these commitments as follows. From that moment, the practitioner should strive to perceive:

  1. All forms—especially that of the vajra master and all vajra brothers and sisters—as manifestations of Buddhas and bodhisattvas,

  2. All sound as the primordial sound of mantra,

  3. All conceptual thought as the display of the nature of mind.

Important: If at this time you are unable or unwilling to commit to these samayas, we recommend attending only the teaching sessions and refraining from participating in the empowerments. We invite you to learn more about this topic in advance so you can make a conscious and responsible decision.
